Ingo Maurer is a master of lamp-making. Porca Miseria chandelier is one of his best works. This design was custom made for a customer who had a sterile atmosphere in his kitchen. Maurer thought that a “big bang” was necessary to break it and a particular film (‘Zabriskie Point’ by Michelangelo Antonioni) came to his mind.
It has a scene in which multiple angles capture an explosion of a villa in slow motion.
