Gabi Rizea is a 42-year-old artist from Romania. He creates incredible sculptures from wood and is well known in his country.
Three years ago Gabi discovered his talent for wood carving completely by accident. He bought himself a new chainsaw and tried carving a human face into a wood block just to try it out.
It turned out pretty good so the artist kept working on his skills.The local authorities of his home city of Craiova, Romania, allowed him to work on the old tree stumps all over the local parks and now his art is seen and loved by many people. Below you can see some of his works yourself!
