Ceramics have been around for thousands of years, but people like Sean Forest Roberts still find new ways to approach it. This American artist uploads satisfying-to-watch clay carving videos to his Instagram account, which can be described as pottery’s visual haven.
With a background in chemistry, Sean brings an experimental mindset to his artistic process: “My work is constantly changing as I develop new tools in my experimentation in the studio. I am deeply fascinated by the underlying randomness in the patterns and structures of nature”.
