The International House Of Pancakes (IHOP) has just rebranded itself into IHOb and everyone noticed. “We’re flippin’ from pancakes, pancakes, pancakes to burgers, burgers, burgers,” the company wrote, following-up on the big announcement. While the customers were kinda confused, their competitors immediately started trolling the dining chain, and it soon turned into a hilarious social media onslaught.
It’s important to note that the name change isn’t permanent. On the same day, the meaning behind the “b” was revealed, the IHOb announced that this move was “just for the time being.” It’s part of a marketing strategy to promote the seven new burgers that the restaurant is adding to its menu.
